Arclid Transport’s long history
began in 1972 with one tanker
to transport foundry sand for its
associate company, Bathgate
Silica Sand. Six years and ten
vehicles later, it became apparent
that high quality, professional
haulage was in short supply so
a further vehicle with a larger
tank was purchased to allow the
carriage of most materials. Today,
Arclid operates a fleet of 24 high
specification vehicles providing
haulage for numerous industries
nationwide and abroad.
